Leader is specialised in translation from English into Polish and from Polish into English.
- Experience
Our experience results primarily from the achievements of Józef B. Lewoc, Ph.D. running Leader. It has been connected (since 1966) with designing and leading of pioneer Polish automation systems, especially for the metal processing industry and the power industry, computer networks and data bases. The work scope performed covered design, commissioning and implementation as well as scientific investigation of the systems. Results of the work were published in Poland and abroad (more than 200 papers including 80 international ones and more than 300 prestigious). In parallel, Dr. Lewoc has been involved in professional translation (since 1963). Till now, he has translated more than 300,000 pages (1,500 character positions each) into Polish and 50,000 into English, and performed more than 100 interpretation cycles. More bulky translations (several thousand pages) were done in the following domains:
electronics, computing science (including computer networks), automation, power industry, communications, mathematics, banking and finance, accounting, contracts, patents, electricity, mechanics, chemistry, metallurgy, environment, geodesy, civil engineering, automobile industry, etc.
The diversity and amount of translations done and the professional results in design, implementing and research work ensure the high quality of Leader services in scientific, technical, commercial and other translations.
- Due dates
Translation from or into English are done fast (3000 words per day into Polish, 2000 words per day into English) due to specialisation and proper organisation of co-operative work.
Leader is open from 9 AM till 3 PM (Monday – Friday). For urgent issues, you can contact by phone or E-mail from 7 AM till 10 PM (any day).
Leader works with many translators and agencies specialised in other languages. Therefore, we can translate other European languages, but not so fast, similarly to other agencies.
